OBGY

Done with 60 days of rotational posting in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 60 days of witnessing everything a female has to go through besides battling injustice, discrimination, stereotypes and what not. Looking after expecting mothers gave me a glimpse into my own past. Things that I was never aware of. Pregnancy makes a woman so vulnerable, her spouse being equally anxious. What do I know, which mother will give birth to the next Tesla or Tagore or Tarkovsky? These 2 months exposed me to a cocktail of emotions. Learned a lot too, thanks to seniors. Overall, it was a delightful experience.
